Little Rebels | Ongoing

While many eyes are on Washington D.C. right now, especially on the many protests, marches, and rallies happening, this project is a long-form documentation of a different, quiet type of protest.

Dupont Farmer’s Market | 2022 - 2024

When I moved to Cardozo in 2022, an exciting new ritual began to form in my life - the Sunday morning trip to the Dupont Farmers Market. Over time, I have noticed several themes emerging from this project including matching colors, farm-inspired clothing, and interesting textures, both on the produce and the fellow shoppers.

The Lincoln Memorial | 2022 - 2023

In the Summer of 2022, I lived on my own for the very first time as I moved from Baltimore to a town a few miles outside of Washington DC. Moving from a city to living in the suburbs meant that I got out of practice fast when it came to my Street Photography. The Lincoln Memorial is the perfect fishing pond for a street photographer with the goal of building confidence - it is completely normal to see someone carrying a camera and even pointing it in your direction.

Roma. (Zine) | 2020

In 2017 I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Rome, and while searching through my old files, I discovered hundreds of photos that I haven’t seen in years. Unfortunately, Italy is one of the worst affected nations in the Covid-19 pandemic, and I decided it was fitting to dedicate my new project to a place I once called home.

“Roma.” is a depiction of what I consider the true beauty of the Eternal City. The photos don’t depict world wonders, ornate churches, or sun-kissed gardens, but rather the Rome that I came to see once I moved past the tourist-traps and Instagram landmarks: graffiti, cigarettes, and people loitering in the streets from dusk till dawn. This grittier side of Rome is what I think of when I reminisce, and is in my opinion the true character of the city.
